Chinese New Testament-FL

  • By Sam Sloan
This translation of the Holy Bible into Chinese was originally published in 1987 in Nanjing, China by, which is the Chinese Christianity Association. It was originally published in one volume of 1432 pages. It was the Old and the New Testament combined into one book. We have divided it into three volumes for ease of printing and carrying. The First Volume is the first 14 books of the Old Testament, from The Book of Genesis through the Second Book of Chronicles. The Second Volume is the remainder of the Old Testament from The Book of Ezra to The Book of Malachi. The Third Volume, which is this volume, is the New Testament with the traditional 27 books plus 12 pages of Biblical maps at the end. Here are the ISBN Numbers of the three volumes: 4871872009 4871872106 4871872203 There are several different Bible translations in Chinese. There are also several different Chinese scripts. This Bible is definitely not the same version that is being distributed by the American Bible Society. This one was published in Mainland China and does not seem previously to be available outside of China. In order to follow these books, including the chapters and verses, you will need to know the numbers in Chinese. In this Bible, the page numbers are in the lower corners. The even page numbers in Chinese are in the lower right corners and the odd page numbers are in the lower left corners. The numbers you will need to know are: one two three four five six seven eight nine ten hundred thousand. The page numbers are written vertically in the corners. If you see the number but printed vertically, that becomes three hundred four ten six or 346. Now, if you want to find out what book that is in, you look at the Table of Contents at the beginning of this book and you will find that page 346 is from the 27th book of the New Testament of the Bible, which is which is the Book of Revelation. There, you will find the number which is 666. Here are the books in Chinese and English and the page numbers where they may be found: The New Testament Matthew Page 1 Mark Page 43 Luke Page 69 John Page 113 Acts Page 149 Romans Page 193 1 Corinthians Page 213 2 Corinthians Page 231 Galatians Page 243 Ephesians Page 251 Philippians Page 259 Colossians Page 263 1 Thessalonians Page 269 2 Thessalonians Page 273 1 Timothy Page 277 2 Timothy Page 283 Titus Page 287 Philemon Page 289 Hebrews Page 291 James Page 304 1 Peter Page 311 2 Peter Page 317 1 John Page 321 2 John Page 327 3 John Page 329 Jude Page 331 Revelation Page 333 The Bible ends and the maps start at page 342."
