Simmons and Carnell Cousar Simmons. She is a graduate of E.E. Smith Senior High School. She is the divorced mother of four children, Levi Jr., Gregory, Roslyn and Jennifer Tyler. She graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan where she received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. She has received many certificates of class completions one being from Metro Chamber of Commerce in Flint, Michigan for Entrepreneur Training. Genie's talents include songwriting, singing, photography and sewing. She has written several unpublished novels as well as plays. She enjoys traveling also.
