In general, God does not initiate the tests. They are initiated by LIFE--sometimes other people, sometimes us, sometimes hidden motives and hurts bring the tests on. Each test must be successfully passed in order to proceed on to another phase of the promotion and increase that were predestined for our lives. The existence of a test indicates that you are up for promotion in the Kingdom of God.
