David lifted his head and looked up to see someone standing in front of him. The figure wore a white dress and she was glowing. "Momma?" David said he reached out, but the image vanished. He rested up against the big oak tree facing the lake. He reminisced the days his friends and him would swim and not worry about the troubles of life. He then looked at the dock and how he never had the courage to jump in; But on this particular night David had something to prove. Not anything to his friends or family but to his self that he could overcome fear or to not come up at all.
