Dr. Larry B. Patton holds the B.A. degree from Mars Hill College, the M. Div. degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Th. D. degree from Trinity Theological Seminary (formerly Toledo Bible College and Seminary). He served on the General Board of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and was a member of the Council on Christian Higher Education. An ordained minister, he pastored churches in the Carolinas and Virginia for 40 years. As a published author, Dr. Patton has written articles for Search Magazine and Sunday Digest, as well as a weekly column in the Home News for seven years. He and his wife, Katie, reside in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.
