When Audrey Mills was experiencing leg pain in mid-2010, she never imagined that within a few weeks, her life would become a living testament to her faith. The pain she was experiencing turned out to be a tumor at the top of her spinal cord. Though she was told that this tumor was benign, she became a slave to the pain that came with it. However, through it all, she found refuge in the strong tower that is God and through this trial, she remained steadfast in her faith in Him. God promises that though life on this earth may not always be easy for us, we can hold onto what He says when He tells us to not lose faith and sight on Him. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and that is what we must remember through the good times and the bad. This book will help you stay steadfast in the faith whatever the situation is. That's why we celebrate Jesus' last words on the cross, "It is finished " (John 19:30). Jesus finished his task with these three words. We are redeemed from the curse because Jesus has already paid the price for us of sickness, poverty, and emotional problems. Mills is a retired elementary school principal who worked in education for forty-one years in Norfolk, Virginia. She is the wife of retired Reverend Wilbert Mills, Sr. who was pastor of the Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Edenton, North Carolina for thirty-three years. As part of her role of being a pastor's wife, she organized and directed faith-based programs for the church and the community. She has one living daughter, a deceased son, a granddaughter, and a son-in-law.
