The s"WORD" is also known as the SWORD. The sword I am referring to happens to be "the WORDS of God" that are written in Bible and the WORDS that are in our hearts. WORDS have taken me to the mountaintops, then straight down to the valleys of life, and everywhere in between. Whether a WORD came from THE sWoRd (Bible), a family member, a friend, a foe, a book, an advertisement... WORDS have moved me. WORDS strike a match in my soul to move me either for good or for bad. WORDS ignite a passion, a furry, a heated wave of emotions, actions, thoughts, attractions, distractions, they cause some form of reaction. WORDS are what unite us or divide us. WORDS bring life or death. WORDS create. This world called earth was created with GOD'S WORDS I wrote this book because I wanted to learn to fight like Jesus ANYONE who can come off HIS THRONE in HEAVEN and lower HIMSELF (for you and I) to come live a pure life on this earth, be tortured in way that no other man has been tortured by others, then be nailed to a cross to die the most painful death, only to rise again in three days, then ascend into Heaven and leave His Holy Spirit to live in us, is THE ONE I want to learn from. Jesus' first temptation was food, also known as physical needs and desires (by the way, food was Eve's first temptation, and I betting food is one of yours as well) then his next temptation was to get God to "prove Himself," and the third temptation was to take a shortcut in His life and abandon the Will of GOD. With each temptation Jesus quoted Scripture to fight his enemy by saying "IT IS WRITTEN" followed by TRUTH. Jesus understood the only weapon He had to fight His enemy (our enemy) was the 's'WORD WORDS written in the Bible] and the Holy Spirit living inside of Him. I went on this journey of writing this devotional book for myself so I could learn the character of God (my Creator), I also wanted to learn about Jesus and who the Holy Spirit is, and to use the lessons I learned daily for every season in my life. My hope is that it will transform your life as much as it has mine. The "more BS" in the title of this book stands for more Bible Study. I don't know about you, but I don't seem to learn much unless I study.
