Kathy's Care Connection has published The Calling in response to the drastic shortage of hospital nurses. This book is meant to encourage students to enter R.N. training, and to see it as a calling for their lives rather than as just an occupation. The Calling also endeavors to help seasoned nurses re-grasp the nobility of their profession so they may be able to endure and enjoy hospital nursing for the long haul; being able to honestly recommend it as a profession because of it's depth of rewards in the midst of trying times. It is in a weekly format because nurses are too busy to be able to devote every day to a devotional.
