To some, "Protestant spirituality" might seem like an oxymoron. Reformation scholar Scott Hendrix contends, however, that given the extensive variety of definitions given to the word spirituality, the spiritual tradition to be found among Protestants right from the beginning of the Reformation is very rich indeed.
