Use Abingdon certificates to encourage each child as he or she progresses through Sunday school. Promotion certificates, along with baptism and confirmation certificates, are tangible ways that the church marks significant milestones in each child’s life and their growing understanding of God’s grace, hope, and love and their faithful response to these great gifts.
Presenting certificates helps the church family build relationships with the children in the congregation. At the same time, certificates help children remember and respond to their relationships with God and neighbor.
Certificates are available for the sacrament of baptism, for confirmation, and to honor or express appreciation for teachers, leaders, and others who work on behalf of the church or in ministry to children.
