Taking a broad approach, this work provides an introduction to the psychology of religion. It integrates clinical, theoretical and empirical literature as well as biographical information of the lives of significant psychologists and their works. Sections are included on the life histories of four significant psychologists (Jung, Freud, Hall, and James) and how their personal backgrounds influenced their work in this area.
