Mary J. Scifres serves as a consultant in leadership, worship and evangelism from her Gig Harbor home near Seattle, where she and her husband B. J. reside with their young son Michael.  Her books include The United Methodist Music and Worship Planner and its ecumenical counterpart Prepare!, and the worship evangelism book Searching for Seekers.
