ROBERT V. DODD is a United Methodist minister and the award-winning internationally published author of eleven books and booklets, as well as a variety of devotional articles, Bible study and curriculum materials. He is a member of the Western North Carolina Conference where he has served as a pastor for thirty-one years. He is also a graduate of High Point University and Duke Divinity School. His writing has been featured in Daily Bible Study and Mature Years magazines, and several annual editions of The Upper Room Disciplines, including the 2009 issue. His most recent book is When Someone You Love Dies: An Explanation of Death for Children.
