DR. NAN DUERLING holds a Bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from Towson State University, a Masters in education and curriculum development from John Hopkins University, and a Ph. D. in literature from American University. For more than 20 years, she has written youth and adult curriculum for several denominations. She has been general editor of the New International Lesson Annual for the past six years.
