Matthew Packer works with the praise band and youth and Christian education departments at the South Lyon UMC and teaches part-time in the music department at the University of Michigan-Flint. From 1999 to 2005 he was minister of worship and music at Fenton UMC, Fenton, Michigan. From 1990 to 1999 he was director of music and Christian education, Clare UMC, Clare, Michigan.
