Stacy Hood is Director of Worship Ministries for Grace Community United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. She works with the "creative ministry team" and more than 300 volunteers in music, sound, video, multimedia, drama, altar ministry, dance, creative movement, and youth worship-related ministries. Hood is a frequent worship speaker and church consultant for congregations considering implementing a Multifaceted and Multisensory approach to worship. She taught music at a parochial school after earning a BME degree in music and a M.Ed. in educational administration at Centenary College in Louisiana. She also composes original music for worship. Hood is the author of ReConnecting Worship and coauthor of Igniting Worship Series: Communion, both published by Abingdon Press.
