…then Exploring God’s Word midweek curriculum is just what you are looking for to round out your church’s Christian education program. Pioneer Clubs will help you share God’s love with the children in your church and community. The program combines the convenience and high energy fun of a large-group presentation with the relationship-building aspects of small groups. The Exploring program is the perfect curriculum to reach and disciple children. Volunteer adults choose a club leadership role based on their own gifts, interests and schedules, making recruitment easy.

Exploring God’s Word midweek program is an exciting large-group/small-group format designed to be used with lots of children in grades 1-6. The large-group Bible presentation is followed with the relationship-building small-group time, where Bible discussion and club members’ handbooks are completed. Strong elements of the small-group time include Scripture memory, prayer and getting to know the small-group leader and peers. Each week the activity coordinator plans skill-building experiences for club members. Leadership needs include one or two large-group presentation leaders, a small-group leader for every 6-12 club members, activity coordinator who recruits volunteers to lead weekly activities and a game coach. 24 undated and easy-to-use complete meeting plans. Fits 1½- to 2-hour time frame. The perfect midweek ministry for a church with lots of kids and with volunteers who are gifted in relationship building. A great combination for sharing God’s love. May be adapted for use in Sunday school, VBS or children’s church.
