All who are led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons and daughters. ¹⁵ You didn’t receive a spirit of slavery to lead you back again into fear, but you received a Spirit that shows you are adopted as his children. With this Spirit, we cry, “ Abba, Father. ” ¹⁶ The same Spirit agrees with our spirit, that we are God’s children. ¹⁷ But if we are children, we are also heirs. We are God’s heirs and fellow heirs with Christ, if we really suffer with him so that we can also be glorified with him.

Did you know…
“Emmaus” is derived from Hebrew, meaning “warm Spring.” It is the name of a place that has proven important in Christian teachings and has been proposed to be located in various sites in present-day Israel and the West Bank. Emmaus is a village named in Luke 24:13 as the location of one of the visitations of the risen Christ.

The experience consists of an exciting 3-day weekend centering on the Word of God, with talks from clergy and laypeople. Chrysalis is designed specifically for youth.

Emmaus and Chrysalis are more than a retreat; they are a lifestyle of Christian service emphasizing the unity of the Body of Christ in fellowship and love.
