Leaders in congregations of all sizes will find a wealth of practical assistance for reflecting on the current reality of their Sunday school and then planning specific action that will strengthen the evangelistic outreach of classes and small groups. This flexible workshop can be used in a  variety of settings and includes everything a congregation needs for focusing the work of  Sunday school for its mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

The primary audience is a leadership group within the church, including Sunday school teachers. The workshop begins with a Bible study pointing to the "main thing," examines cultural changes that have contributed to the decline of the church, and focuses on the potential within the Sunday school for making new disciples. The presenter is Bishop Scott Jones. The process includes using the included discussion guides and worksheets to help the leadership group assess their church's possibilities and develop an action plan for realizing their potential through the Sunday school.
