7 THINGS CHRISTIANS BELIEVE
Creeds & Deeds - Part 1
Creeds represent the efforts of Christians throughout history to capture the essential elements of faith. In succinct phrases, creeds codified what the scholars & religious leaders of a certain time held to be core religious truth.
However, the creeds we commonly recite in worship are not directly from the Bible...and there is nothing to prevent us from developing creeds more appropriate to our time and place. Doing so can be a faith-building exercise.
