Nativity is a compelling 15 minute Christmas musical drama that sparkles with the artistry of it’s composer/ arranger, Mark Hayes. For the opening medley, Mark has chosen to set verses of Away In a Manger to three different carols: Mueller, Normandy, and Cradle Song. After the quiet, prayerful opening, a marvelous blend of carols spread the good news of Christ’s birth with the delightful French carol, Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella. The final scene is of the shepherds in the field, featuring an inventive medley of carols including It Came Upon the Midnight Clear, and closing with The First Noel.

Available in both SATB and SAB voicing, Nativity features narration and optional soloists, unison children’s choir and congregation.
