Our Daily Bread is a chancel drama that can take the place of a sermon or in the context of the liturgy. As the Lord’s Prayer is read, each portion is reflected back with other prayers from the Book of Common Prayer. The narrator reads standing from the pulpit, lectern or altar. Readers are scattered throughout the congregation as noted in the script to read or say their lines at the appointed time. It can be performed by youth or adults.
