Written for children from ages 9-12, this short term study is designed to help children learn about the healing powers of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. The four sessions will help children understand what healing is, why Jesus healed, what healing teaches us about God's love, why healing is still needed in our world today, and how healing comes about - through a miraculous healing, through a gradual process, and through gaining inner strength to cope with physical problems. Dr. Penn presents the Church as a healing community and gives suggestions and activities to strengthen the relationships between children and adults within the church.
