Hurricanes Katrina and Rita brought catastrophic, long-term damage to areas of the Gulf Coast that is disrupting the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of individuals, families, cities, and towns in the affected areas. This long-term situation is reshaping the lives of thousands of people and the ministry and outreach of many churches and clergy. In response, Cokesbury is committed to meeting the needs of affected clergy and churches. First, we offer our continued prayers for strength and recovery. Second, we offer the following program to replace important resources lost to these disasters: Cokesbury’s Hurricane Katrina/Rita Recovery Assistance program offers free shipping and handling for all orders placed in support of affected churches and clergy that would like to replace some or all of the resources lost to this disaster. We also offer this program to donor churches that are purchasing resources for the affected churches and clergy. Resources that are particularly needed in the affected areas are:

After a quick verification process that includes identifying a shipping address that is currently being serviced by Federal Express, The US Postal Service, or UPS, your replacement resources will be on the way.
