This bread plate napkin is hem stitched and embroidered in white linen weave cotton with a Red Cross and Vine design. Very soft and absorbent. Simply machine wash and iron when damp.

Why cotton instead of linen? Modern linens are highly processed. This gives a lot of strength to the fabric but decreases the ability to absorb. Cotton is naturally softer and more absorbent than linen.
